Music to my, and your, ears...

So I have a friend, who told me sometime ago about his idea to change the world, or at least a very small part of it, and well freshly launched this month – here it is! It's called 'Soundtrack to your' and it's is a fresh new look at sharing, via social media. I love it! So Congratulations to Pete and the exceptional team behind it, simply marvelous.

Compact living – Yo!

Some of you may be aware of the YOTEL? Spider bitten

It was a foregone conclusion that I would see this film, yet another Spiderman movie I hear you cry! Or was it?

Andrew Garfield stepped into Tobey Maguire's shoes to be a new spiderman for a new generation, and I have to say, hand on heart he did it pretty well. He makes a believable geek, and when he assumes his aler-ego as a superhero, he carries off the cocky teen believably too.

The Marvelous Avengers 3D

For all of you who like a good action adventure, coupled with a healthy dose of Superhero Science Fiction, then look no further. The Avengers is an excellent film which successfully combines all of the charisma,characteristics and humour from our favourite Marvel comic heroes.

Too many cookies?

New legislation has been passed which will affect the majority of UK websites. The law only applies to website who use 'Cookies'. Domestic appliance abuse...

It was a busy day, and so when I opened the fridge and was confronted by a black hole, I was momentarily flumoxed – ah the light was off! So I checked the plug, yes, it was in and it was on. So I checked the appliances next to it (using the same supply), yes, they were working fine. Just to be sure I jiggled the fridge out enough to reach the socket and swapped the plugs over, after all, it could just be the one side of the socket that was at fault right? No, still no light. Must be a fuse then. So I located a spare flex (There is always a spare flex for something somewhere?) and went about changing the fuses round, and yes, I checked the flex was working first. You guessed it...

A marvel and a masterpiece!

Back in September, I was lucky enough to be given some theatre vouchers as a birthday present and it had been on my list of to-do's to see War Horse for quite some time. I booked online and managed to get front row tickets for the show, but it meant waiting until now to do so. So, at the weekend, I was very happy to venture out in the howling winds and driving rain and head into town (not sure my other half was quite so chuffed!).
